Hard Disk Drive Tuning

Modern hard disk drives allow their owners to adjust the noise level, performance, temperature, and power consumption independently. During the display of tuning form current parameters of the hard disk drive with its magnetic heads beginning to position on casual tracks are displayed demonstrating current noise level. All changes of controls in the form take effect immediately. At the form closing the analysis of velocity characteristics of the hard disk drives parameters of which were changed is performed. When the acoustic noise management that was previously switched off is switched on, the value of parameter is set in the position recommended by manufacturer while the advanced power-saving is set in the middle position.
